Oreo Dropped New Orange Tang-Flavored Cookie

Kraft Foods Closes Bakery To Reduce Costs

Who's ready to feel nostalgic? Oreo just revealed an exciting new collaboration and it's going to take you right back to your childhood. The cookie company is dropping Orange Tang-flavored Oreos, which will be available exclusively in Dubai, and they reportedly taste exactly like the citrusy drink we all loved as kids.

The news was first shared by Instagram foodie account @JunkFoodOnTheGo in a lengthy post about the new collaboration. "Most of us Americans grew up drinking Orange Tang whether it was at home or at school," the post reads. "I remember as a kid, it was so bomb!! It’s one of those things though that I think kids enjoy more than adults. Anyway these Oreos actually really capture the taste of orange tang in the creme filling. Now whether or not that is a good thing... I will leave up to you to decide. I think if you love Orange Tang, definitely give these a try. Personally I’m not sure how I feel about the combination of orange and chocolate but I know a lot of people love it. Interesting try for sure!"

Oreo fans were divided over the Orange Tang-flavored cookie. "Everyday we stray further from God's light," one person commented. "Oh no. Not Tang. Orange yes but not Tang. My husband just made a face and asked why. Exactly. Is there a contest for the grossest flavor?," another added. Some, though, can't wait to try it out. "Omg i need to try this flavor," a third person wrote. "WHY DOES THAT HAVE TO LOOK SO GOOD?" one enthusiastically questioned.

It doesn't appear as though there are currently plans for these to go on sale in the U.S. any time soon. In the mean time, though, we can all look forward to the comeback of the Peppermint Bark Oreos this holiday season, as well as the upcoming Mystery Flavor launch this fall. So many Oreos, so little time, am I right?
