For the first time in their history, the Human Rights Campaign has declared and LGBTQ+ National State of Emergency as the community faces extremist action to roll back rights. They have created a website to help people navigate the many anti-LGBTQ+ laws that have been passed in all 50 states at hrc.im/emergency.

A Federal Judge has blocked the enforcement of Florida’s trans healthcare ban that was just signed into law by Governor Ron DeSantis. This will allow trans youth to once again access necessary medical care. The ruling also bars the state from taking any further enforcement action against trans youth or their parents.

And Justin Bieber’s dad Jeremy is under fire after posting an offensive anti-LGBTQ+ message on his Instagram Story. The post, now since deleted, said “Don’t forget to thank a straight person this month for your existence”… rhetoric that ignores the fact that LGBTQ+ parents have natural pregnancies.
