Just two years after Leyna Bloom graced the cover of the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2021, Grammy winner Kim Petras has been honored as one of four cover models for this year's issue.
Sports Illustrated says that Kim opened up to them to talk about the pressures of becoming an icon in the LGBTQ+ community and representing the trans community. She said, "“It’s definitely a scary time to be transgender in America, but there’s also so much more representation than there’s ever been, and there’s so many things on the bright side."
The other models available on the cover this year include Megan Fox, Martha Stewart, and Brooks Nader.
